Discovering Afadjato
The name AƲA means War
                     DZA means Poison ivy 
                    TO    means  Mountain 
About 300years ago as our fore-fathers settled in the town of Liati Wote, there were wild and dangerous mammals attacking them. 
Initially, the name Afadjato was Aʋadzato. As the animals were attacking our fore-fathers, they decided to chase them away, by so doing they chase the animals to the level of the mountain where they realized there were further attacks against them.
And this very attack was caused by an itchy grass called "edza" (poison ivy). 
They (our fore-fathers) thought it was because they were chasing the animals, that was the reason the edza(poison ivy) were fight back at them not minding back then in the days, they do not ware clothes but rather put on animal skins mostly to cover their private parts. They decided to return to their habitat leaving the animals flee by themselves due to the itching encounter where as they name the mountain Aʋadzato, which clearly means mountain of war against an itchy grass
But because the first mountaineers who came couldn't pronounce the name Aʋadzato, they named it Afadjato. The mountain has a height of 2905ft (885mtrs) above sea level
